Poems Written Together

Untitled #1

I suppose I could float if I left this old body of mine.
I keep checking my wrists but I can't tell the time
I can’t stand all these clocks ‘cause they are taking all I got. Follow me to the sand its all part of my plan.
I am a damned man
I am the sand man.

Kick out my legs and replace them with pegs.
Your golden threshold, so bright and I can’t seem to reach.
Can’t wait till I’m alive so I can rest on your beach.

Just eat all your caviar and fill up on all your wines.
I swear that I’ll see this a dozen more times.
You pay off your crimes with your corrupted wealth
you make it so obvious your suffering in your mental health
Go back to the war that’s been plaguing your head.
Your frail train of thought is hanging by a thread.
It’s all been erased and the fruit lost its taste.
It’s an abomination the way you live your life in waste.

I see your wolves as guidance but they're out for blood instead
Scratch me with pencils till I bleed out lead.
Force feed me glue and make my mouth shut tight.
Staple my eyelids and I lose sense of sight.
I only ask for a little but you make sure I’ve had too much.
I crumble at your repulsed expression as you shiver away from my touch.
Instruct me how to drink and I will live the way of lies.
I try to belong but I am met with looks of despise.
You Crash me with cymbals as I strangle myself with strings.
I try to rise to where you are but you sever my newfound wings.
Your seas are so shallow and you’ve been given the tide.
Now give up your privilege and I will give up what is mine.
You right my mistakes can’t you leave them alone.
I deny all your wisdom and I leave them buried with bones.
